Birds at Wildcat Park

To date, 163 species have been recorded in the area.

Included in the Wildcat Glades Bird Checklist are species that have been observed in the Wildcat Park area and along Shoal Creek between Reding's Mill and Grand Falls. To date, 163 species had been recorded in the area - 48 of which have been confirmed as nesting.

Featured at Wildcat Glades are some of the last remaining chert glades, Shoal Creek, and associated bottomland forest, chert savanna and cliffs, and oak-hickory upland forest typical of the Ozarks. This variety of habitats leads to a diverse list of avian species that can be observed.
